We're trying something new with these beautiful item. This is one of our best selling rings, however, this particular one has a diamond shaped turquoise stone in the middle and the others have half circles. So, we're going to do a fun little experiment on our Facebook fanpage. An open auction. We'll start the bidding at $0.99 with free shipping. Update on Haiti
We were very relieved to learn that another of our contacts in Haiti is safe. He was traveling in the US when the earthquake happened. His family is safe as well. Their are about 200 refugees camping near his house with food and water running out quickly. He does not know anything about his workers and he is having difficulty reentering Haiti.
Silence From Haiti
As you probably know, on Tuesday, the island of Haiti has experienced a devastating earthquake destroying much of the infrastructure. The damage and casualties are mounting as international aid is in route.
As of yet, we have heard from some producer groups in Haiti, but we have not heard from the producer groups that make our recycled metal artwork. We are optimistic knowing that they have more urgent needs at this time.
Please keep the people of Haiti in your thoughts and prayers during this tragic struggle.

Yes it is true. Your favorite fair trade gifts can now be gift wrapped in fair trade, handmade, embroidered, luxury wrapping paper. OK, ok...The luxury might be a stretch, but this paper is so nice it comes in sheets, not rolls. That is, when we buy it, in comes in sheets. When you buy it, it is attached to a box in an attractive way.
