I am sorry for the delay to communicate with you, but the situation is not easy here during the last few days

The people that works in Comparte offices and our families, are all well! The earthquake was terrible. The worst situation that we remember,  in many years, in our country. We recovered the electricity on Monday, after many hours of no electricity and no connections. The situation is very complicated and sad in some regions of the South (300 and 500 kms from the capital, Santiago) We work with many producers in these areas. We are trying to learn how they are doing, the producers and artisans that work in these areas, if they are well or not and what are their needs but the telephones connections collapsed in many areas. Also, there are no electricity and no water these days. Today the telephone connections in the south are working better and it is good.

I hope the people that we support are Ok  Also we would like to detect if they can work during the next days or their places suffered damages. We are trying to take contact with them. We will let you know and all of our friends as soon as we can and if we will ask for some help. We are working in some ideas to help the people.

Also, we are working to ship the orders as soon as we can. The producers need more work and more income to rebuild their places and we, at Comparte, need to be more effective in our work and support with them.  Today we are sending a shipment to you. (see the next e-mail)
