Artisans in developing economies struggle daily against incredible challenges – access to raw materials, stable infrastructures, dependable logistics, etc. – however, natural disasters seems to top the list this year for challenges facing these artisans. The world watched with unbelief as one of the largest earthquakes in modern history rocked the South American country of Chile not even two months after the devastating earthquake in Haiti.



As a fair trade importer, Gifts With Humanity is not positioned to help in the immediate disaster relief, however, we are fully committed to our artisans in Chile and look forward to continuing our work with them in development after the initial relief.
